in partnership with The New York Times, The Tebo Library, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) on Campus.

Speaker: Dr. David Tostenson, Assistant Professor of Philosophy, Department of History and Philosophy

Dr. Tostenson will explore philosophical and moral complexities surrounding how society defines disability, and the implications for identity and community. This conversation will consider the tensions between medical treatment and the lived experiences of disabled communities.
