Researching Gender in Rural Communities In-Person
Hosted by: Center for Empowering Victims of Gender-based Violence
2021 Fall Roundtable Series
This roundtable includes FHSU faculty and former graduates to discuss researching gender and gendered violence in a rural context.
Gender relations in rural areas are distinct from urban areas. What do gender relations mean in a rural context? What can we do to offer a gender responsive approach for justice involved individuals and those who need to access services? We will also showcase faculty’s finished and ongoing research to highlight the importance of researching gender in rural communities.
